Nintendo replaces Wii controller straps

Nintendo has finally caved in to the inevitable.

It will be interesting to see if, now that Nintendo has basically admitted that the original strap was too flimsy, any lawsuits are drafted by people whose televisions and other expensive items broke when their straps snapped and their controllers flew across the room.
