Top 10 games of the year

Here's my list from The Dallas Morning News of my top 10 games of the year.

I have to admit that I've been really stunned by the mainstream success of the Wii, particularly Wii Sports.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo manages to corner the mainstream market, while most hard core gamers end up gravitating to the 360 or PS3. And, wouldn't you know, that's exactly the strategy Nintendo has said it's been pursuing all along.

It just seemed a lot more implausible before the Wii became the uber gift of Christmas 2006.
