Here's my game column from this weekend's DMN, looking at hardware sales data at the launches of the last several consoles. Basically, good start for the Wii, slow start for the PS3, but those early results don't guarantee anything. After all, the GameCube was quicker out of the gate than the PS2, while the Xbox trounced both of those systems in the early going.
And here's my review of Super Paper Mario for the Wii that ran in the paper today. I liked it, but it didn't knock my socks off. I think the sooner Nintendo stops bringing these GameCube leftovers to the Wii, the better.
