 No turning back

I pre-ordered the legendary edition of 'Halo 3' back in 1996. I did this in-store (wasting gas and energy).

Since then, I was actually thinking about canceling my pre-order due to a retail-nightmare-run-in with this particular store. I was going to get my $50 back.

At the same time I went ahead an pre-ordered, again, with a store online. So basically I have two pre-orders.

Well, today my credit card was charged for my online order. I took this to mean the game was about to ship. I called customer service and was told the game was not be leaving the warehouse today and it would not arrive at my house until the release date (drat!). I was also told it was too late to cancel my order.

Now my dilemma: attend the midnight release for my in-store pick-up... and enjoy all-night gaming OR sleep-in and get the game the next day.
I guess I could sell one of my "Legendary Editions" on eBay.

Sleep just sounds so good.

VICTOR COMMENT: 1996? What a fanboy!!
