Here's a game that I've been anxiously awaiting. If you like Poker and Tetris-type puzzle games, then you might love the new Xbox Live release Poker Smash! You can catch a glimpse of the gameplay on YouTube. Available NOW!
I'm also excited to hear that 3 new (old) classic XBox games will be available for download on Monday: Black, Sid Meier’s Pirates!, and Ninja Gaiden Black. I think I've already decided that I'm downloading Ninja Gaiden Black...one of my most favorite games.

'Forza' cheap-a

Quick, save 20 bucks right now! The similarly titled "Punch Jump" blog pointed out that 'Forza 2,' for the Xbox 360, is $39.99 on Amazon. It's cheap and it's good:

Not to sound like a shill, but Amazon has a video game deal every day. Just go to the Amazon video game section and look for the Deal of the Day button the right hand side.
Most of the time it's a mediocre game, or older game, so Forza was definitely an exception. As is today's deal of A wireless controller with charge and play kit for $50 which basically means you get a free charge and play kit.
But don't worry, they'll make up for it tomorrow by offering a discounted copy of Vampire Rain.

Thankfully someone has started a Wiki to keep track of the game... so go there now and pretend like you understand what 's going on.

Streaming media with PS3 1.80 update

Looks like you can stream mdia to your PSP from your PS3 and FROM your PC to your PS3. The PSP streaming is very "Sling-boxy" since you can access media wherever you are... or when the PSP finally updates it's firmware.

I had huge storms bashing my house for hours last night, otherwise I would have turned on my 360 and download the 'Forza Motorsport 2' demo that went live at 1:00 am (my time).
I also have been reluctant to download anything else to my old Xbox since Microsoft has YET to send me my transfer kit (it's been 2 weeks!!) for my Elite system!! ARGH!
I can only visit the Forza boards (here) and read what others are saying :(.
